Individual leasing means that each person is only responsible for their portion of the common areas and their bedroom. If your roommate does not return for the spring semester, you’re not responsible for their payment.
The Renegade is an all-inclusive student community, which means your monthly installment includes all utilities except electricity. Electricity costs are automatically split among all roommates. Water is included up to a $10 cap/month. Any additional usage exceeding the cap will be billed to your account monthly. Additionally, you’ll enjoy your designer furniture package, washer + dryer, access to our amenities, and an excellent team to help you anytime you need them.
Yes, we offer a personality-based roommate matching system! If you don’t have anyone you would like to live with, let us match you up with someone. When completing your application, you will fill out a roommate-matching questionnaire. Make sure to fill this out completely and honestly. This lets us know more about what you want in a roommate. You have three installment payment options to pay the entire amount due under the lease – one installment, two installments, or twelve installments. If you choose to pay a single installment for the whole of the amount, that single installment is due August 1. If you choose to pay in two-semester installments, those installments are due on August 1 and January 1. If you choose to pay in twelve installments, the first installment is due on August 1, and the remaining eleven installments are due on the 1st of the next eleven months. Please note that these are all installment payment options and not monthly rent.

The Renegade’s liability insurance does not cover your personal belongings. For this reason, we suggest getting renter’s insurance. It is generally inexpensive and will cover your belongings if something happens. If you have any questions about our requirements, please feel free to reach out.
Our lease is binding and cannot be broken; however, we offer a re-let program that allows you to transfer your Lease Agreement. You can re-let if you cannot live here after signing your lease. Please call the leasing office for information on re-letting!

The Renegade is happy to offer 24/7 emergency maintenance to our residents. If you need maintenance, go to your resident portal on our website and fill out a maintenance request. If it is an emergency, please notify the front office immediately.
The Renegade comes fully equipped with brand-new stainless-steel appliances and a designer furniture package that includes a couch, chair, coffee table, media console, 55″ TV, barstools, and a full-size washer and dryer in the common area. All bedrooms also come fully furnished with a full-size XL bed, dresser, nightstand, desk, and chair.
Your mail will be delivered to the mailbox of your apartment located on our property. Packages will be delivered using our package concierge system so that you can retrieve your packages anytime, day or night.

While the main focus of your student’s college career will be on graduating and creating a fulfilling career, they must also have fun. At The Renegade, your student will develop lifelong relationships and connections that will make them even more successful. Our great staff plans monthly resident events to get them involved. These events range from pizza parties to karaoke nights, resume-building classes, and gaming tournaments. We will keep our residents connected to events going on here, as well as events happening around town, so they don’t miss anything! We want your student to succeed, so we thought of them while designing The Renegade as a Living and Learning environment to launch them into success at FSU.
